About the tour

This trip starts in Tel Aviv and heads north in a beautiful ride along the Mediterranean Coast. Arriving in Caesarea, the capital of Judea during the Roman and Byzantine period, we shall visit the intact Roman city revealed in archaeological excavations with its hippodrome, a theatre, an aqueduct and the remains of what used to be the most modern port of its times.

Our tour proceeds further north and we shall view an excellent panorama of the city of Haifa from the top of Mount Carmel. This high spot allows us a clear view of the port, the Western Galilee and the breathtaking Baha’i Gardens and Shrine.

Continue north to the beautiful city of Acre( Akko), a port city and the capital of the kingdom of the Crusaders during The Middle Ages. Several quarters of this ancient city were built by Knight Orders of the crusaders (Hospitallers and Templars) as did their allies from Venice and Genoa.

Our tour is concluded at the Israeli-Lebanese border at the white cliffs of Rosh Hanikra. A cable car will take us down to the limestone caves which were created by the waves of the Mediterranean Sea.
